Something for the Weekend Sir

Last weekend we...a few mates and our triumphs , did what we christened the RBRR Lite..We left home early friday morn drove ,leasurely, to Perth for a nights kip , then a leasurely drive sat to stay in Glasgow..more leasurely driving for a sunday night kip in Tewkebury ..then home monday

as you can see ,we ,[me and Katie ] packed lightly for our trip

We did some of the recommended RBRR route and visited one or two of the control stops , but did so at a more leasurely pace which enabled us to stop here and there and admire the scenery.Plus we added in some extra places like the Lake District

The sceney in scotland was Fab ..with snow covered hills

katies GT6 went well apart from a 6 week old spax shock failing..luckily i had a spare in the boot

We were able to stop at loch Ness and Ambleside and really take in some of the atmosphere ..and enjoy some cracking roads in our little cars

We did pack a little hamper of snackage for along the way ..and we had to dodge the odd flying bannanna skin coming from Clives toledo

The collection of deer on the roads of scotland in the dark made for much fun

I didn't bother trying to even guess the MPG ..quite frankly i didn't care..it was all about having a hoot in our trumpies and that we did
