The gearbox mount that is...the rubber bit showing at the bottom ..shouldn't ..that's why the gearbox sat low and i couldn't get the gearstick locator bolt in

Have done a bit more on Connie today...had her up to 30mph in 3rd...OK it was on stands and didn't move out of the garage but at least it proved no dodgy noises from the gearbox

Remebered to take a paint brush with me so i could paint some of the suspension bits i'd cleaned..also removed ,cleaned and painted gearbox crossmember..that's when i found the knackered mount

Played around with the electrics to try and find why i have no headlights...dodgey dash switch...floor dip switch and no earth from lights..will investigate earth prob another day

The leaking water pump proved not to be from where it bolts onto the housing ,but the pump itself ..so one found in my spares and fitted

So the list of bits to get is getting slightly bigger
